| DAY 02: LUZERN – WILHELM TELL EXPRESS – LUGANO |
| Today is the major day - we will enjoy a scenic journey through lakes, past majestic mountains and charming villages first on boat and then by a panoramic train. Board the historic Wilhelm Tell paddle steamer for the scenic 3-hours cruise across Lake Lucerne to Flüelen (usually operated by paddle steamer, sometimes by motor boat) and enjoy exquisite views of the surrounding mountains from the deck and while enjoying the leisurely gourmet lunch served on board in the first Class restaurant. From Flüelen, you enjoy a panoramic train ride through the impressive Reuss Valley, up the Gotthard Range, through the famous Gotthard tunnel to Ticino and past charming picture-perfect villages to Bellinzona in panorama cars IST Class. Change train and continue your journey to Lugano.
