Day 01: Swiss Border / Airport - Luzern
Arrival in Lucerne by train from the Swiss border or the airport. Get the Swiss German touch in Lucerne - the heart of Switzerland. A stunning setting, world-famous sights, exciting modern architecture, endowed museums and much more make Lucerne a thrilling city to visit. Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 02: Luzern – Mount Pilatus
Morning proceed to the Mount Pilatus golden round trip excursion: from Lucerne you board the boat to Alpnachstad and from there the steepest cogwheel train the the world takes you up to Mount Pilatus at 2132m/7000ft. On the way back you take the cable car/gondola down to Kriens and further by bus back to Lucerne (operating app. mid May - app. mid October). In wintertime take the bus from Luzern to Kriens (approx. 10 mins.) and continue with the panoramic gondola from Kriens to the Pilatus). In the afternoon, a cable car takes you back to the base. A coach takes you back to Luzern (approx. 10 mins.). We also offer this excursion in reverse order. Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 03: Luzern - Lugano
Rail journey to Lugano in the very south part of Switzerland. Precision and Swiss quality and on the other side Mediterranean charm and style in gastronomy and architecture. These are simple words to describe the beauty of this land of contrast. Overnight in Lugano.

Day 04: Lugano
Get the Italian touch and live the dolce vita - all while experiencing more wonderful moments on a boat trip to enchanting places such as the picturesque fisherman village of Gandria or Morcote. Or you might want to explore Swissminiatur in Melide - the open-air miniature park where you will find more than 120 models representing patrician houses, castles, cathedrals and other structures of Switzerland. Overnight in Lugano.

Day 05: Lugano - Lausanne
Today you take the train from Lugano to Locarno from where the Centovalli Railway takes you to Domodossola in Italy. There you board the train to Brig Switzerland and further to Lausanne. The picturesque city of Lausanne is the second-largest city on Lake Geneva. Since 1914 it is headquarter of the International Olympic Committee. Overnight in Lausanne.

Day 06: Lausanne
Get the French touch in the land of savoir faire and belle vie. Enjoy the wine of an incredible place - the Lavaux region - landscape of terraced vineyards and World Heritage Site. We suggest a visit of the Olympic Museum. Overnight in Lausanne.

Day 07: Lausanne - Depart for the onward journey
Return to Swiss border or airport or continue your stay in Switzerland at your own request.
